I am officially out on my own, and I am absolutely loving it. I'll tell you one thing, I didn't realize how much responsibility I would have to gain. Even in just the little things. I now have to clean all my own dishes, wash my clothes, make the bed, scrub the bathroom, pay for groceries. It is a lot to take in, but I am loving the freedom.
More than anything I am loving having Annikan, my 2 year old irish setter by my side at all times. He literally is my other half. My boyfriend, Eli, says that he is me but in dog form. He verifies this by saying we are both huge clumsy, goofy, crazy, klutzes. :) I just call it 'happy go lucky' ha. I am so glad he is going through this right by my side. I think I would already be back home by now if he wasn't with me. In March, it is just going to be me and him. Eli is leaving for Ft. Lenordwood in Missouri for Basic and his AIT school for 5 months. It is just gonna be me and the big man. I don't know what I am going to do without Eli for so long. I can't even call him or hear his voice for the time he is at Basic. I am going to need Anni by my side to help get me through it. I am going to use it as a time to really find myself and my loves through my art and animals.
As for my first week on my own.... I have been sick with an awful sore throat, headache, achy body, and fever....I have now been in bed for the past 4 days in a row. super. I am now being tested for Mono...no good. Good news is that I am starting my first semester at UGA on Tuesday. I am majoring in Arts in Education which I just found out I have to take 5 more Art History classes....no good. I hate art history..oh well.. And unfortunately the only art studio class I can take this semester is Color Theory....oh well, at least I get to take most of my classes with my best friend Bridgitte. I don't know what I would do without her there. We are both freaking out..We are even going a day early to figure out our parking and how to get from class to class because we have no idea where we are going. ha....we are gonna look like such newbs.
I am also transferring to the Winder Petsmart. I can't wait to see some of my old friends! it is going to be a huge change from my last Petsmart...I am going from being in a salon with 9 other girls to a salon with just 3 other girls. Muchhh quieter. I am going to miss my old co-workers so much. I love those girls more than anything! I have been working there for almost 3 years now, and they are like my sisters....but I am sure I will love working at the new Petsmart as well...
Well, Anni is by my side snoozing while I wait on some much needed pizza after eating chicken noodle soup for the past 3 days!
Life on my own... Here we go. Bring it.
